UDAIPUR- THE CITY OF LAKES

PLACES TO VISIT IN UDAIPUR

1. CITY PALACE
City Palace, Udaipur, is a palace complex situated in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty.




2. LAKE PICHOLA 
Lake Pichola, situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi 



3. SAHELIYON KI BARI
Saheliyon Ki Bari is one the most beautiful gardens and a major tourist destination in Udaipur.
It is an amazing garden to spend the evening. 




4. DOODH TALAI GARDEN
Dudh Talai Musical Garden also known as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay park, is a magnificent rock garden in Duddhtalaii. It is manage by Urban Development Trust, Udaipur. visitors love the sunset and scenic view of Lake Pichola. This garden is the perfect example of modern architecture.

6. FATEH SAGAR LAKE
Built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh, Fateh Sagar Lake got its name from Maharana Fateh Singh, who later made additions to it. Talking about the statistics of Fateh Sagar, the lake extends to the length of 2.4 km, 1.6 km.




7. SAJANGARH PALACE 
Overlooking the magnificent Lake Pichola in Udaipur, Sajjangarh Palace (also known as the Monsoon Palace), is a glorious residential palace situated on a hill top. It was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884 and offers spectacular panoramic views of Udaipur city and its stunning lakes, mountains and palaces. This majestic palace is truly a sight to behold especially when it is illuminated in the evenings



8 .EKLINGJI TEMPLE
Eklingji is a Hindu temple complex in Udaipur District of Rajasthan in western India. Eklingji is believed to be the ruling deity of Mewar Princely State
